Reference: New mandatory security education course for all employees, e-mail forthcoming from Integrity Interactive.

Dear XXXer,

For all the benefits of a smarter planet, its promise will not be realized unless people, communities and organizations can be confident that their information is secure. So XXX’s ability to secure our own systems and information and those of our clients is essential to our strategy. As the world becomes more instrumented, interconnected, and intelligent, the challenge of securing key systems and data will require innovation and continued vigilance.

Within the XXX enterprise, you are the first line of defense against security threats. To help you better recognize and minimize those threats, a new foundational security education course for all employees called “Information Security at XXX” will be available soon.

Starting in October you will receive an e-mail from the course provider, Integrity Interactive, to complete the training. You are required to participate and update your knowledge related to protecting XXX and client data, IT and physical assets, and yourself.

During Security Awareness Week (October 25 to October 29), additional information will be available on w3 to enhance your understanding of the topic, and to help you improve your own security posture. We urge you to take advantage of this opportunity as well.

As XXXers we are united by our values. Central to that is trust – and our commitment to take personal responsibility for building it in all our relationships. Thank you for taking responsibility to refresh your knowledge of security basics through this new course, and for helping to maintain the trust that our clients, our partners and our colleagues place in XXX.
